Kurtis began racing chariots 1993 and later started wagons in 1996. Kurtis has been a very active member of the MPCCA for the last 13 years serving on the board for the last 4 seasons. He spends the summer traveling throughout Manitoba and Saskatchewan with the rest of the Callander crew. He is a very competitive racer at the track as long as his Dad (Ken) and Uncle (Richard) don’t get to his horses before he gets them hooked up. 

 

Kurtis will be entering his fifth year of teaching at Reston Collegiate as a Physical Education Teacher and keeps busy coaching as well as still playing competitive hockey.  He looks forward to another summer of racing and socializing with his summer time friends.
