Colleen is a third generation horse racer. She began racing a chariot in 1993 at 14 years of age.  Since then she has seen many successful runs. Some of her many accomplishments in chariot racing have been winning the Manitoba Chariot Championship, MPCCA High Point Chariot and MPCCA Penalty Free Chariot. Colleen proudly carries Cook & Cooke Financial and Insurance, The Money Pit and Scales Drug Store as her chariot sponsors.

Colleen, her husband Steven and their son Maccoy travel through Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta racing their horses. Colleen’s entire family is involved in racing. Her husband Steven races a chuckwagon. Her father Ray has been racing since 1965 and has been a great influence.  Her mom can been found helping out around camp with the horses and the grandkids. Her late older brother Kristen drove wagons and was the official judge and starter for the MPCCA until his sudden passing in 2004. Colleen’s sister Shannon has raced chariot for a number of years, but now finds herself busy with a young family. Colleen’s younger brother Hayden also races both chuckwagon and chariot.  

Colleen enjoys spending her summers traveling and racing with all of her family and everyone at the track.
